Recent Work | IWU Nursing, Spring 2015
It’s that time of year again! You may remember from past posts that I produce a biannual magazine for Indiana Wesleyan University’s School of Nursing. This is the third issue we’ve done together.
I’m editor and project manager for this publication, which takes me beyond my typical proofreading niche: for this magazine, I also help with research, sourcing, copywriting, design, and typesetting.
Work has already begun on the fall issue, which will celebrate forty years of nursing at IWU. I’m excited to dive into that, as I love historical research and have had fun doing retrospective pieces for other clients. Meanwhile, check out the current issue, which has some great articles on the program’s overseas travels and the new sim lab, among other things.
Magazine work is something I really enjoy, so one of my freelancing goals for this year was to pick up additional magazine clients. I’ve shared some of my work on the Fort Wayne Vine and will pop in with updates on other projects throughout this year.
You can check out past issues of IWU Nursing I’ve helped put together here and here. To see more of my recent work, check out my online portfolio.
