I’m excited to share that I’m working with a designer to reimagine my business logo and branding! Things are starting to really pick up with my work and it’s time for me to be even more intentional about investing back in my business. Crafting a new look for Kelsey Mitchener Editing has been on my wishlist for a while, so it’s fun to be at a point now where I can make that happen with the help of an awesome designer.
For the rebrand I’m working with Carley Lee of Long Live Simple. Carley and I took art and design classes together in college and I was always blown away by her projects, so I’m really looking forward to seeing what she comes up with for my business. It’s fun to work with a fellow freelancer and small business owner, plus I love that Long Live Simple is focused on sustainability and being eco-friendly. Win-win-win!
So far it’s been really collaborative, with the two of us talking through things like my ideal client, my business goals, and my brand personality. I put together an inspiration board and Carley culled it to the selection above. I’m loving how things are headed, and now that brand discovery and direction are covered, Carley will be working her magic. We’re about halfway through the three-week design process and I’m eager to see her ideas for the final design.
Stay tuned for the launch of the new branding soon!
