But not too, personal, ok? That would just be… awkward.
I’ve generally used this blog space to share things at least loosely related to my work as a freelance editor, like recent projects, bookish things on my wishlist, and life as a small business owner.
Now, though, I’ve decided to open things up a bit.
Don’t worry; I’m still the same introverted homebody with a deep-seated fear of oversharing—especially online.
That said, this is my blog on my personal website, and I think it’d be fun to get a little more personal. I love editing and I love running my own business, but that’s just part of who I am. I’ll keep sharing on those topics, but I’ll be sharing the everyday things, too. A woman must have a space of her own where she can share (occasional) pictures of her food.
Hope you’ll stick around for the changes. Let’s get to know each other better!
So let’s get started, shall we? Today I just want to share a handful of photos from earlier this week, when my husband and I drove around Pike’s Peak to soak in some autumn views. Hope you enjoy them!
Til next time,

Thank you! Yeah, I think the trees turn a little earlier here. A lot of the aspens are already losing leaves–but there are still plenty of trees that have yet to turn at all. I guess it extends the season on both ends, which is nice. 🙂

You’re welcome! There are tons of evergreens out here but the trees that do turn are a really brilliant yellow, which is fun. 🙂

Thanks for the colorful views of an American autumn. I’m definitely missing watching the trees trade their workaday green attire for something a bit flashier!
