Celebrating Three Years

It’s here again: my editing business’s birthday!

To celebrate three years of Kelsey Mitchener Editing, I’d like to share a small present with you: my very first discount coupon! Begin a project with me any time between now and October 6 and receive 10 percent off your total.

I like to celebrate birthdays by looking back over the past year (also, by eating lots of cake). Since my business’s last birthday, I’ve moved my business to a new state (Colorful Colorado) and made the transition to editing full-time (yay!). I taught a semester-long university course (my first!), worked with over 70 undergraduate and graduate students on their writing, and made it to two great conferences: Calvin’s Festival of Faith and Writing in Grand Rapids and the International Writing Centers Association Conference in Pittsburgh. I revamped my editing services and redid my website. And I gained some great new clients in a range of markets, including bloggers, scientists, entrepreneurs, nonprofits, and others. (See some of my recent work.) It’s been a busy year. Here’s to the coming year and all it has in store!

Thanks for celebrating with me. And don’t forget to take advantage of the birthday discount (and share it with others)!
